The Nordic Championship of 2015 was driven at PKSRCA 1/8 track in Lavanko, Vantaa, Finland. On Friday it was raining and the practice was cut to just one round, but Aris car, Agama A215 powered by Bullitt engine and pipe, Beta tires and Piranha fuel was working great, and he was confident for the race. On Saturday the car was working well in practice and the first qualifier, so Ari used the rest of the qualifiers for testing tires, in order to be best prepared for the finals on Sunday. In the Semi finals Ari won his final and drove the fastest time placing him on pole for the hour long main final. Also August Poutiainen also driving Agama A215 made it to the main final with a great drive in his semi final, and would start from ninth place.
In the final Ari was unstoppable and quickly drove a gap of 10-15 seconds that he held for the rest of the race by controlling his pace and keeping the gap to the others. Ari would go on to take the win from second placed Joseph Quagraine and third placed Max Mört. Fourth was Marcus Sandberg and fifth Samppa Orhanen. August had tough race and wasn't able to make clean racing and would suffer problems with that meaning he would finish 11th.
This race was also the last race of the season in the Finnish Championship.
Ari Heinonen was crowned the Finnish Champion after winning 2 races, finishing second once and third once. Second place was Joseph Quagraine before third placed Tomi Salonen. August Poutiainen finished seventh overall for the season with his Agama, a great result for the young man of the team.
Congratulations to Ari and all the drivers for a fantastic season
